Recently, we had the opportunity to repair a few subtle dents on both fenders and the roof of a 2021 Porsche GT4. The accessibility was great on the fenders, making the repair process relatively straightforward. However, working on the roof required us to navigate around several barriers. The technician had to partially take down the headliner. This involved removing some of the trim pieces and clips that hold the headliner in place. This process was carefully done to ensure that the headliner wasn't damaged and that it could be easily reinstalled after the repair.
Once the headliner was partially removed, the technician could slide a tool in there to access the dent. The technician used a specialized tool to carefully massage the dents out, working from the inside of the roof outwards. The technician carefully reinstalled the headliner, ensuring that all the trim pieces and clips were securely in place. The process of reinstalling the headliner required the same level of attention to detail as removing it.
Despite these subtle challenges, we were able to complete the dent repair in about four hours. Once we finished, the vehicle was sent next door, Patriot Auto Detail, to get a paint correction done, bringing it back to its original factory finish. Overall, it was a rewarding experience to work on such an exceptional sports car and restore its pristine condition.
